The Recording Coordinator is responsible for processing and reviewing recordable documents to verify correct state and county recording fees are being collected.  Individuals in this role also prepare checks to be sent with the recordable documents to the correct state and county for recording.


  • Review All Documents and Recording Fees for 100% Accuracy
  • Maintain Accurate Records and Logs
  • Communicate with Recorders and Treasurers
  • Complete Necessary Reporting, Including Quickbooks Software
  • Provide Updates to Closing Department and Management to Ensure Accuracy in Process
  • Working Knowledge of State and County Recording Requirements
  • Additional Duties, as assigned


  • High-School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum 1-Year Experience in Document Audit Function
  • Working Knowledge of Real Estate Terminology
  • Strong Customer Service Focus
  • Clear Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Ability to Work in Fast-Paced Environment and Meet Deadlines
  • Capability to Work both Independently and as part of a Team
  • Problem-Solving Mindset with Ability to Multitask
  • Familiarity with Computers, including Microsoft Office
