Overview

Our preferred client, located in the downtown Pittsburgh area is looking for mid-to-senior level Lead Technical Support Engineer. This individual will work with the clients team and play a key role in the design, development, deployment, ongoing support and improvement of the infrastructure to our web application. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience. 

 

Responsibilities

  • PL/SQL development for E-Business Suite (EBS) or strong PL/SQL skills with a willingness to learn the EBS environment
  • Work with customers to trouble-shoot issues
  • Work with new and existing customers for deployments or patch installation
  • Recommend, design, test, and deploy enhancements/improvements
  • Monitor MySQL database activity and recommend performance improvements
  • Create any necessary Linux scripts performance optimization
  • Maintain and augment existing scripts that export and load custom administrative database

Qualifications

  • Excellent PL/SQL experience and skills
  • Experience with BI Publisher
  • Experience with interfaces and conversions, inbound and outbound
  • Experience with XML or JSON a plus
  • Experience with relational database design
  • Experience with MySQL database optimization or willingness to gain these skills
  • Experience analyzing and correcting long-running SQL commands in a MySQL environment or willingness to gain these skills
  • MySQL procedure development a plus
  • Strong experience with Linux system administration
