Our Client, a global consulting firm headquartered in Pittsburgh, has an immediate need for an IT Infrastructure Project Coordinator.  This individual will be responsible for project management support for Systems and Network Engineering projects, as well as coordination with other departments and international IT groups.  The ideal candidate will have excellent planning and organizing skills, and enjoy supporting multiple high-profile projects while working under challenging deadlines.

  • Provide project management support for large-scale projects, and project management leadership for smaller projects.
  • Create and coordinate project plans while collaborating with other teams, project team members and third-party providers.
  • Initiate and manage communications with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Actively remove obstacles to strengthen project momentum and progress.
  • Support preparation of project plans and budgets with guidance from IPO.
  • Track progress, understand dependencies, evaluate risks and communicate status to upper management and project partners.
  • Customize/tailor project documents (e.g., project plans, communication plans, risk registers, etc) using templates selected by IPO.
  • Create, maintain and update status reports and ad-hoc reports as requested.
  • Provide administrative support as required (i.e., word-processing, data entry, file maintenance, etc.).
  • Coordinate the delivery of specified Global Infrastructure project deliverables
  • Coordinate with other teams (i.e., Product Development, Internal Support, Enterprise Applications, Marketing, etc) to support development and delivery of projects


  • BA or BS degree with concentration in Computer Science, Information Science or related area, or equivalent technical certification with work experience.
  • 2-3 years of Infrastructure Support, Systems Engineering or Network Engineering experience preferred.
  • Project support/management experience with familiarity and openness to using either Waterfall or Agile Methodologies where appropriate.
  • Strong leadership and problem solving disposition.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a dynamic, fast-paced, high performing team.
  • Ability to take initiative, support multiple projects, and work under challenging deadlines.
  • Ability to look at the “big picture” to define and address stakeholder needs across the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make good judgments, often in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills, with high work standards and attention to detail.
  • High receptivity to feedback and willingness to learn, including learning new technologies to support rollouts.
  • Experience using Office 365, familiarity with cloud-based solutions and security a plus.
