Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Human Resource/Payroll & Benefits Generalist for a direct hire position.  This position will manage the payroll process and administers the health and welfare plans as they relate to payroll.  Also, ensuring that all processes and procedures comply with Federal and State regulations, as well as company policies.  Candidates should have SIX (6) of related work experience.


  • Manages and executes the payroll function including biweekly processing for all employees, in compliance with Federal/State guidelines and company policies
  • Manages timekeeping function and system 
  • Prepares payroll general ledger entries and data analysis
  • Administers defined contribution plan
  • Develops, maintains, and executes processes, procedures, and administrative guidelines to ensure timely, effective administration of employee participation and contribution
  • Administers loans, hardship, withdrawals, and contribution deposits
  • Administers, interprets, and maintains discrimination test records, audit records, and annual 5500
  • Develops and administers processes and procedures for the health and welfare benefits plans as they relate to payroll and finance
  • Establishes procedures and guidelines for maintenance of company personnel files including retention


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management (or related field) and/or ten (10)+ years of direct work experience without formal education
  • Position typically expects six (6)+ years of direct/relevant experience based on scope of position and in area of supervision with one (1) year of leadership responsibility
  • ADP WorkForce Now experience is ideal
  • Knowledge of Human Resource principles
  • Experience in day-to-day HR administration, benefits, and payroll
