  • Overview

    We currently have a client in the Columbus, Ohio area who is actively seeking a Change management Professional for a 12 month contract assignment. The CMP will provide insight and data to change management team regarding stakeholder status and partner with the team to refine plans based on stakeholder data. The CMP will be responsible for all stakeholder reporting. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The CMP will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. These improvements will increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes. 

    Responsibilities

    • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities and stakeholder assessment and reporting. 
    • Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative. 
    • Support communication efforts with stakeholder engagement levels, resistance, and on-going assessment 
    • Assess the change impact and understand impacts by stakeholder groups 
    • Support training efforts with stakeholder information
    • Complete change management assessments 
    • Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics 
    • Identify and manage anticipated resistance 
    • Consult and coach project teams 
    • Support activities and stakeholder reporting to engage senior leaders 
    • Support efforts to evaluate and ensure user readiness 
    • Track and report stakeholder issues 
    • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress 

    Qualifications

    • Eight (8) or more years of change management experience
    • Experience as change manager on department or business unit level projects or leading change management workstream for change initiatives required. 
    • Prosci Certified
    • Solid reporting skills, Advanced XLS skills, analytical thinker, strong skills with graphical representation and reporting approaches. 
    • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
    • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tool 
    • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere 
    • Forward looking with a holistic approach 
    • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics 
    • Problem solving and root cause identification skills 
    • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges 
    • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle 
    • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts 


    Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, IT, Communications or related field. Associate’s Degree and two years of change management experience. 
    • Advanced degree a plus
