  • Overview

    One of our preferred clients in the Venango County area is looking for Help Desk/Break Fix Technician to support PC Hardware, Mobile Devices, Software, Networking, Printing, etc. This is a six month contract to hire position working onsite Monday through Friday. Normal office hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide troubleshooting, problem solving, and on-site technical support for all levels of IT and US-based user community.
    • Provide Client PC support for all hardware/software, computer deployments, and related issues.
    • Analyze, test, implement, and support the deployments of new client technologies such as PCs, laptops, tablets, and mobile endpoint devices.
    • Analyze, troubleshoot, and support all aspects of the client infrastructure including, but not limited to, PC hardware and software, application installation, video conferencing, wireless networking, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP client issues.
    • Provide client-level support for all IT and Engineering deployments and projects. 
    • Utilize network management software to add/remove users for access to network resources.
    • Support remote access through the VPN, wireless networking, and cellular networking.
    • Develop solutions for simple to complex user issues (hardware and/or software).
    • Develop technical process and procedural documentation, as well as end-user documentation.
    • Conduct research on new client technologies, including testing of new models of endpoint devices as they are added to the environment.
    • Provide engineering workstation support for operational and project-level hardware and software.
    • Support video conferencing and WebEx applications.

    Qualifications

    • One or more years of experince in a Help Desk / Desk Side support setting
    • Possess the ability to effectively communicate technical issues into general terms both within IT as well as to end-users at all levels of the corporate hierarchy.
    • Must be proficient with Windows OS and Microsoft Products

    Education:

    • Associates Degree in Information Technology 
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
