    Our Client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, has an immediate need for an Organizational Change Management Consultant. The position is located in Pittsburgh, PA.  This is a 12 month contract assignment.  Ideal candidates must have 7+ years of OCM experience.

    Responsibilities

    We are seeking an experienced OCM Consultant with experience implementing change management strategies and tactical execution of OCM tasks. The OCM strategy includes vision and value, leadership engagement, communications, training solutions, change readiness and organization alignment. This consultant will partner closely with key functional areas to assess readiness for change, gather communications needs, develop materials, deliver and track communications, meet timelines, drive culture, assist to achieve project goals and support business goals while demonstrating core value.

     

    • Support efforts to execute change management strategy across areas such as Vision/Value Definition, Change Readiness, Leadership Engagement, Organization Alignment, Communication and Training
    • Work with Program Executives and internal client teams to assess change readiness and project risk related to change.
    • Identify and document organizational impacts of change initiatives with supervision
    • Identify the necessary communication needs, preferred approach and key indicators for each project or initiative as part of an overall change impact assessment
    • Develop and execute communications plan aligned to overall implementation and training plans
    • Support the organizational development and design needs of business units collaborating with IT team members or external resources, with emphasis on change in people, process and/or technology
    • Prepare communication, training and other change management materials related to changes in people, process and technology.
    • Partner with internal resources to coordinate timing and delivery of communications and training deliverables
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand communication needs, timelines and key milestones
    • Utilize innovation, creative approaches and continuous improvement to drive communications, training change management and other technology related content to improve the absorption and adoption of key messages
    • Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication, training and other change management vehicles and user understanding
    • Maintain a good working relationship with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and work with client management and staff at all levels.

    Qualifications

    Technical skills:

    • Understands Information Technolgy terminology - Hardware and software

    Cerifications:

    • ProSci,  Adkar or APMG International preferred

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree is preferred

    Prior applicable experience:

    • Organizational Change Management experience within the IT domain across the global enterprise
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
    • Technical content development experience a plus
    • Experience in Organizational Change Management practices
    • Experience providing change management solutions in support of large scale process/technology projects and/or other transformational initiatives
    • Ability to set priorities and multi-task between simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment
