  • Overview

    Our Client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, has an immediate need for a Deskside Support resource. The position is located in Pittsburgh, PA.  This is a 12 month contract assignment.  Ideal candidates must have atleast 5 years of deskside support experience in a mid to large size company.

    Responsibilities

    • Proficient troubleshooting skills that includes hardware, software, and other break/fix issues which include printing, networking, file shares, etc.
    • Solve customer support issues by visiting the end-user's location.
    • Provide support in an office  environment that will consist of standard PC hardware and software troubleshooting. 
    • Update tickets in the tracking system.
    • Adhere to written procedures and communicate well with customers, peers and managers.
    • Participate in an on call off hours rotation.
    • Support all levels of an organization (C-Level to non-technical)
    • Provide AV support-video conference, camera
    • Account Administration-set up new accounts

    Qualifications

    Technical Skills:

    • Windows 7 and 10 Operating System, Cisco network troubleshooting, O365
    • Microsoft Office Application support, break/fix, printer support, enterprise size ticketing system, Anti virus software, Active Directory
    • Prior applicable experience: 5+ years of deskside support experience in an enterprise size environment,
    • Must have prior experience supporting C-Level to non-technical end users

    Education:

    • Associates degree or higher-not required
