  • Overview

    Our Client, is seeking a Sr Network Engineer for a full time position.  Candidates will be responsible for the design, implementation, support, and security of high-performance global communication technologies and services across (wide-area) and within (local-area) company sites.  Duties include, develop, implement, manage, and improve network technologies and services and oversee the global network technology infrastructure.  Candidates will need to have a minimum of five years of related work experience.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Possess expert knowledge of network and data communication protocols and technologies.
    • Able to design, implement and support converged networks with voice, data, video and wireless access
    • Must be able to scale upwards and adopt newer technologies that include converged infrastructure, software defined networks, and application delivery
    • Possess proficient knowledge and practical experience in the design and management of dynamic network routing and switching; wireless networking; implementation and support of VoIP technologies and videoconferencing
    • Experience with Cisco technologies, Check Point firewalls, and Riverbed WAN optimization equipment is preferred

     

    Qualifications

    • 5–7 years of experience in network and telephony planning, design, and management for a global company
    • Cisco route & switch certifications are required. Voice and/or security certifications are preferred
    • Must be able to troubleshoot and manage MPLS, telecom, and data providers

     

    Education:

    • BS in IS/related field with 8-10 years’ experience software solutions implementation, development and support
