    Our client, located in Central Pennsylvania, is hiring a full time Senior Business Analyst with a Finance background. This position will provide functional and technical support for all systems used by Finance and related areas including AR, AP, Cash Applications, Sales Order Processing and Procurement. Also this position will analyze business needs and develop solutions using current systems or recommend alternative solutions when gaps are identified. The ideal candidate will have five or more years of experience with JD Edwards.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with the business organization to create and maintain the set of IT projects in the strategic roadmap for the business unit
    • Perform cost-benefit and other types of analysis on roadmap projects to evaluate potential solutions and implementation methods
    • Serve as owner of third party relationships for external vendors/partners
    • Create business requirements, Return on Investment (ROI), and functional system requirements for projects prior to the beginning of the SDLC/project
    • Represent the needs/priorities of the business organization in any IT meeting
    • Coordinate with the IT Project Manager, IT Team and Business Owners throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure business support for effort
    • Keep abreast of the latest finance regulatory requirements as it pertains to our ERP applications
    • Coordinate User Acceptance testing for all projects

    Qualifications

    • Five or more years of experience working with JD Edwards Enterprise One - Financials, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Cash Applications.
    • Experience in identifying complex business issues/challenges and formulate them into business requirements and functional systems requirements.
    • Experience and understanding with the relationship between business processes and a complex set of systems that supports the processes.
    • Experience communicating with a wide range of individuals (executives, business users/clients, system users and IT staff).
    • Experience as a functional leader for complex system implementations preferred
    • Functional knowledge of Finance, Procure to Pay and Sales Order systems
    • Previous Project or Program Management experience preferred
