    Our client, a leader in their industry is actively seeking a Mobile Application Developer for a 12 month contract assignment in the Columbus, Ohio area. This role will primarily be responsible for developing and support a newly developed customer mobile application in iOS and Andriod. It is vital that the candidate have an eagerness for development practices such as pair programming, test driven development, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). 


    • Understand our client’s mobile strategies and best practices 
    • Design, Develop or modify code according to our client’s standards and practices. 
    • Mobile project leadership including testing and publishing quality applications 
    • Collaboration with project management, architecture, technical lead, design and technology peers 
    • Participate in code reviews and team technical discussions 
    • Share responsibility and assists team members in achieving goals. 
    • Ability to collaborate and communicate ideas effectively with others 
    • Focus on developing useful, usable products while having an open mindset and willingness to learn from others 
    • Mentor peers and junior software developers (Senior level only) 
    • Willingness to develop new skills and learn new programming languages as needed 


    • Proficient in iOS or Android SDK and willing to learn to the opposite platform (i.e. iOS or Android) 
    • Fluent in object-oriented programming languages (i.e. Swift, Java, C#, Kotlin etc.) 
    • Experience with Agile/Scrum 
    • Working with remote data via REST and JSON 
    • Experience in stewarding an app through development, testing, and publishing in the App store including beta testing, certificate signing, profiles, review processes, etc. 
    • Familiarity with development tools needed to perform the job 
    • Quality-focused development practices (i.e. Clean code is a priority) 
    • Desire and ability to work in an environment with test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration, and pair programming 
    • Understanding of UI controls and developer tools 
    • Published at least one mobile application 
    • Experience creating reactive touch-based interfaces 
    • Knowledge of GIT source code management 
    • High interest in the field of web, technology, mobile, usability & design
