    Our client, a leader in their industry, is hiring an Operations Support Specialist. This is a full-time direct hire position. The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for processing products related to employment background screening applications. In this position you will be accountable for working within client and credit reporting agency guidelines in order to provide minimal turnaround and high quality results on requests.  The position is fast-paced, requires tremendous attention to detail and the ability to work within a team environment is required.


    • Process searches in response to client pre-employment background screening requests
    • Searches and retrieves information from various sources related to an applicant’s history
    • Releases information and documents in accordance with the Public Information Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Sarbanes-Oxley Act and other applicable laws and procedures
    • Functions positively on a team
    • Ensure adherence to Guidelines, regulations and processes where applicable while exercising judgment and reasoning abilities in order to solve problems.
    • Requests must be handled professionally and in a timely manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.


    • 1 year of work experience that includes working in a team environment preferably in a data entry or Internet research capacity
    • Writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; able to read and interpret written information
    • Good critical thinking skills
    • Great attention to detail
    • Effective time management skills
    • Ability to produce work of the highest quality level.
    • Analytical/Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems; gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
    • Quantity of Work- Ensures the completion of individual assignments.
    • Sense of urgency to meet client and organizational expectations
    • Good problem solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment, as well as act independently
    • Strong computer skills, including internet, Word, Excel, Outlook and PC Based applications.
    • Ability to adhere to processes, procedures and guidelines during the execution of tasks and assignments.
    • Strict Confidentiality Standards


    • Associates Degree or Higher Preferred



    • Must be a quick learner
    • Bi-lingual a plus
    • Familiarity with FCRA a plus
    • Strong familiarity with navigating the internet
    • If business needs dictate, mandatory overtime may be required.
