    Our Client, a leader in the telecommunications industry, has an immediate need for a Supply Chain Analyst. The position is located south of Pittsburgh, PA.  This is a 6-12 month contract position with the possibility of extension.  Ideal candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in supply chain analysis.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Responsible for managing communications with field teams and contractors concerning the status of qualification requests.
    • Maintains tracker spreadsheet to update key milestones related to each contractor qualification case and utilize available tools for tracking project milestones and reporting progress back to management
    • Negotiates with contractors for executing service master agreements 
    • Responsible for Corporate Program Management, e.g., Travel Services, Fleet Services, Office Supplies, Commercial Credit Cards, Shipping/Small Package Delivery Services, Printing Services, and Office Machines.
    • Maintains the relationship with vendors providing the goods/services related to the corporate program.
    • Responsible for managing bids, vendor selection process, pricing and problem resolution.
    • Provide daily operational support to functional/field users in the purchasing module and be able to relate new system configurations to practical applications for the implementation of testing protocols.

    Qualifications

     

     

    • Associates/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
    • Two (2) years of related business or purchasing experience 
    • Must be very knowledgeable of the constantly changing insurance requirements both internally and externally as they relate to contractors performing services work
    • Understanding of the data sets that can be pulled from the system for reporting purposes
    • Must understand how the purchasing module interacts with Accounting module
    • Ability to meet project deadlines and manage resources accordingly
    • Maintain positive relationships with internal customers
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Strong communication skills
    • Strong organization and prioritization skills
    • Strong customer service skills
