The A.C.Coy Company has an immediate opening for a Sr. Software Engineer who will lead the design and development of a cloud-based payments platform. Seven+ years of software development experience required.  Direct hire, hybrid position (3 days onsite 2 days remote).

Responsibilities

  • Provides guidance and training to junior web development and design staff
  • Collaborates across departments to identify and understand web application development needs
  • Plans, executes, and facilitates website and application development projects in accordance with specifications, budget, and timeline
  • Develops and oversees implementation of web applications, coordinates site and application functionality with organization’s content management system 
  • Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves site and application issues; recommends and implements preventive measures to avoid future problems 
  • Collaborates with security and compliance employees to ensure site security 
  • Provides on-call support to support service level agreements 
  • Maintains knowledge of emerging technology and best practices in website and application design and development

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field 

Required:

  • At least seven years of software development experience required
  • Proven experience as a Senior Web Developer or similar role 
  • .NET Core, C#, WebAPI, REST API 
  • HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React

Preferred:

  • MSSQL design and administration preferred
  • Cloud Experience (Azure) preferred
  • Technical certifications, certificate programs, and/or higher-level training are highly desired
