External Auditor - Hybrid

Location: Hybrid, Canonsburg, PA

The A.C.Coy Company has an immediate opening for an External Auditor. Ideal candidates must have a year of general accounting experience or MBA in accounting, demonstrated high attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude to learn.

• Analyze deficiencies in internal controls, propose solutions, create remediation plans, and track and test outcomes
• Evaluate and design internal controls and their effectiveness
• Identify and assess business risk
• Manage multiple audit assignments simultaneously
• Support and perform risk-based audits covering operational and financial processes
• Document and report results of audits to management
• Efficiently interact with clients to perform audits, make recommendations regarding improvements, and gather information
• Analyze data for deficiencies in controls, duplication of effort, extravagance, fraud, or lack of compliance with laws, government regulations, and internal policies and procedures

Education Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a business related field
• Master's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred (CPA, CIA, etc.)

Experience Required

• 1+ year of general accounting experience, preferably in audit
• Ability to work independently with little oversight
• High attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to present confidently to executive management

Travel

• 25% travel associated with this position
• Hybrid work schedule: 2 days in office / 3 days WFH
