Director of Finance - On-site

Location: On-Site, Washington, PA

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Director of Finance. Ideal candidates will have a thorough knowledge of accounting and auditing principles as well as Federal, State, and County laws and regulations governing the fiscal operations of a non-profit.

• Prepare, monitor, and communicate the company's annual budget including consulting on investment decisions and advising on expenditures
• Prepare fiscal reports to support State and Federal programs
• Manage third party relationships including banks, rating agencies, underwriters, financial advisers, and other financial professionals
• Oversee the investment of funds to maintain adequate liquidity while maximizing security and ROI
• Regularly participate in audits, including communicating with internal/external auditors, communicating with department heads, and creating response and corrective action plans to audit exceptions
• Manage staff including accountants, analysts, and clerks
• Participate in special projects as assigned

Education Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field

Experience Required

• A minimum of six years of accounting experience, preferably with a non-profit
• Prior supervisory experience, including administering reviews, participating in hiring, mentoring
• Thorough knowledge of accounting and audit principles as they relate to Federal, State, and County laws and regulations governing the fiscal operations of a non-profit
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to present to executive management
