Divisional Finance Director - On-site

Location: On-Site, Washington, PA

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Divisional Finance Director. Ideal candidates will have a thorough knowledge of accounting and auditing principles as it relates to the finances of a human service organization.

• Prepare, monitor, and communicate the division's annual budget and exceptions that impact that budget as they arise
• Prepare fiscal reports specific for audits and summaries of the division
• Communicate and interface with governmental sites for funding requirements as they relate to Medicare and Medicaid
• Regularly participate in audits, including communicating with internal/external auditors, communicating with department heads, and creating response and corrective action plans to audit exceptions
• Manage staff including accountants, analysts, and clerks
• Participate in special projects as assigned

Education Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field

Experience Required

• A minimum of four years of accounting experience, specifically with an agency using Medicare/Medicaid state funding
• Prior supervisory experience, including administering reviews, participating in hiring, mentoring
• Thorough knowledge of accounting and audit principles as they relate to a human services organization
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to present to executive management
