DATA ENGINEER - HYBRID

Location: Remote, Applicants MUST currently live within 2 hours of Irwin, PA

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Data Engineer.  Ideal candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer supporting a global corporate environment.

• Data Integration and ETL Development
• Collaborate with Global Data Strategies Director, Business Systems Analysts and Application Support Engineers to understand specific data requirements, including metering data, consumption trends, and grid performance
• Define and implement data warehouse structures
• Design and develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load large volumes of data from diverse sources into the data warehouse
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability, especially in scenarios involving real-time data streams
• Manage and maintain the data warehouse, ensuring it is optimized for the unique needs of the energy sector
• Configure and maintain data models that cater to energy consumption analysis, demand forecasting, and infrastructure monitoring
• Create intuitive and informative dashboards based on business requirements and defined key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Work closely with data strategist and operational teams to gather dashboard requirements and translate them into actionable visualizations
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data lineage, transformations, and data sources to facilitate audits and compliance reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, global service, sales and others to align data solutions with business goals

• This position manages the application support queues, resolve incidents, and support tickets in timely manner and meet global project and business requirements

Education

• Bachelors degree - Preferred

Experience Required:

• Experience working as a data warehouse engineer, a data architect or similar role in a global corporate environment - 5+ years
• Tech skills: AWS, Databricks, Fivetran, AWS Storage, AWS SQL Server, Tableau, Dataiku - 3+ years (with these tools or comparable)
• Skills in global application support, software development, debugging, scripting, reporting tools using XML, PL/SQL or other database/application reporting technology - Preferred
