Overview

Location: 90-95% Remote- must be willing to work EST Time Zone (may have meetings/go lives for trips to corporate)

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

The A.C.Coy Company has an immediate opening for a Cerner Senior Clinical Application Analyst- Core Team.  Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of related IT or clinical support experience.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Core Subject Matter Expert for client and project integration risks
  • Support production optimization of Cerner systems to the latest standards and the integration of new solutions into the environment
  • Hands-on experience with the Cerner EHR and core build tools
  • Responsible for ESH build, cleanup, and optimization; including note types, order event code associations, DTA, and inbound/outbound aliasing
  • Knowledge of Cerner core tools, including but not limited to: location build, privs and prefs, core code builder, CCL, and MyExperience
  • Experience with EPCS/eRx a plus

Qualifications

  • Experience (3-5 years) of related IT or clinical support experience
  • Minimum of 3 years with electronic health record or other clinical software applications
  • Navigates competing projects and priorities to ensure domain strategy is sound
  • Performs all phases of the System Design Life Cycle including implementation, integration and regression testing, user acceptance, deployment, maintenance, and support of clinical electronic health record
  • Experience in working with various Cerner support teams (Oracle Health Hosting, Oracle Upgrade Center, etc.)
  • Adheres to change management guidelines across all Cerner domains
  • Provide after-hours “on-call” support to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Knowledge and proven experience with ESH and Event Set build and maintenance is a must.  Also, core code builder, location, event set hierarchy, priv/prevs, Olympus, DIA, ect
