Senior Accountant - Hybrid

Location: Hybrid, Trafford, PA

Job Type: Contract / Contract to Hire

The A.C.Coy Company has an immediate opening for a Senior Accountant. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience with GAAP accounting including balance sheet, bank reconciliations, month-end close, and cash flows. Strong interpersonal skills with a personality of getting the job done are important.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements
• Prepare and process month end close including reconciliations of accounts, journal entries, accruals, and preparation of financial statements
• Monitor and maintain fixed asset records
• Prepare and review analysis ensuring balance sheet accounts are reconciled with supporting documentation
• Manage cash flows
• Support external auditors

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• MBA preferred

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience working in GAAP accounting
• Experience working with month-end close, bank reconciliations, balance sheets, journal entries, and cash flows
• Strong interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude
• Microsoft office skills including strong Excel skills
• Experience using an accounting software such as Quickbooks or JD Edwards
