Overview

Location: Onsite in Pittsburgh, PA

Job Type: Full Time / Contract

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Technical Support Technician.  Ideal candidates must have 3+ years of technical infrastructure support experience. 

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide onsite support of the data centers, remote offices and technical infrastructure
  • Ensure all hardware/software problems/Infrastructure issues are logged (tickets) and the appropriate staffs are notified – 80%
  • Perform equipment/network/fiber/copper installs and decommissions – 10%
  • Installation and general upkeep of data centers racking, fiber, power, and network equipment - 10%
  • Work hours are M-F 7am - 3pm

Qualifications

 

Education:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience - Required
  • Bachelor degree or related experience - Preferred

Technical Skills:

  • Working knowledge of production layered applications (TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS, etc.) - 3+ years
  • Working knowledge of computer systems, both hardware and software and networking - 3+ years
  • Experience with a ticket tracking system (Cherwell, HP Servicedesk, ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.) - 3+ years
