The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Plant Controller. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment, prior supervisory experience, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. This position will be responsible for driving compliance, optimizing profitability, and free cash flow.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with plant leadership to work on targeted goals to increase performance measures around quality, productivity, delivery, cycle time, inventory optimization and profitability
  • Accurately forecast, analyze, and plan business results
  • Analyze data and track performance progress
  • Coordinate the capital approbation process and post-project reviews
  • Ensure SOX requirements are met for internal controls
  • Supervise a finance team
  • Drive year over year cost reduction initiatives
  • Review financial statements and account reconciliations
  • Effectively communicate location results against forecasts, plan, and performance objectives
  • Assure accurate, current, and complete information for government contracts
  • Accountable for all location financial statements

Qualifications

Education Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA, CMA or MBA preferred

Experience Required

  • 5+ years of related financial/controllership work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Supervisory experience
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills
  • Experience using queries, including Essbase, Hyperion, Oracle, or similar systems
  • Strong cost accounting skills including multi level routing and bill of materials cost accounting experience
  • Excellent communication skills
