Auditor - Manufacturing (Hybrid)

Location: Hybrid, Canonsburg, PA

The A.C.Coy Company has an immediate opening for an Auditor (public sector) for a client with a focus on Manufacturing clients. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting with a high attention to detail and a love of the audit field. 

• Analyze deficiencies in internal controls, propose solutions, create remediation plans, and track and test outcomes
• Evaluate and design internal controls and their effectiveness
• Facilitate Sarbanes Oxley walk-throughs and control testing, including follow-up testing
• Identify and assess business risk
• Support multiple audit assignments simultaneously
• Perform risk-based audits covering operational and financial processes
• Document and report results of audits to management and the executive team
• Efficiently interact with clients to perform audits, make recommendations regarding improvements, and gather information
• Analyze data for deficiencies in controls, duplication of effort, extravagance, fraud, or lack of compliance with laws, government regulations, and internal policies and procedures

Education Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a business related field
• Master's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred (CPA, CIA, etc.)

Experience Required

• Prior audit experience preferred
• Experience working for a manufacturer preferred
• Ability to work independently with little oversight
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to present confidently to executive management

Travel

• 25% travel associated with this position
• Hybrid work schedule: 2 days in office / 3 days WFH
