Test Technician

Location: Onsite- Pittsburgh PA 

Job Type: Full Time

Work Authorization: US Citizen, No C2C

The A.C. Coy Company has an immediate opening for a Test Technician.  Ideal candidates must have a 2 year technical degree in electronics or equivalent experience in technical capabilities.  This individual must have strong organizational skills and be willing to stretch their skillset and troubleshoot complex product issues.

• Repair products that are defective off the production line
• Alert Quality and Production team of recurring assembly issues
• Conduct and prepare reports for tests requested by customers for in-warranty product problems
• Maintain adequate inventory to perform repairs
• Analyze and/or repair product returns
• Provide failure analysis data to Quality Control and Engineering on an as needed basis
• Conduct and prepare reports for tests requested by customers for in-warranty product problems
• Process warranty returns in the ERP system

Education

• 2 Year technical degree in Electronics or equivalent experience required 

Experience

• Must have basic soldering skills 
• Must be proficient in circuit board schematics
• Experience repairing and troubleshooting electronics
• Professional written and verbal communication skills are required
• Proficient expertise in Microsoft Office is required, particularly Word and Excel
• Demonstrated capability as a self-starter in a hands-on environment
• Proficiency in SQL is desired, but not required
