IT/IS ANALYST - ONSITE

Location: Onsite in Davenport, IA

Job Type: Full Time / Contract

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for an IT/IS Analyst.  Ideal candidates must have  5+  years of PL/SQL, Oracle database, Shell Scripting and Linux experience.  

• Analyzes, enhances and supports business processes that may span multiple computing environments, but exist primarily in the Linux/Oracle area of IT
• Debug code, run batch jobs, create new integrations,
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the business processes and a general understanding of the manufacturing business
• Takes initiative to identify and implement system and/or process improvements in their area of support
• Interacts with systems analysts and business process owners and local user experts
• Effectively utilizes project methodology and tools to deliver solutions and communicate status
• Operates within and influences IS standards and conventions and promotes adherence within the IS organization

Education:

• Bachelor's degree 

Experience Required:

• PL/SQL Programming  - 5+ years
• .NET, C,C# or Java programming - 1+ years
• Shell Scripting experience  - 5+ years
• Linux/ Oracle knowledge - 5+ years
• Experience SQL Developer or SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) for database query - 5+ years
• Advanced knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure and operations - 5+ years
• Solid understanding of systems analysis, design and programming techniques - 5+ years
• Requirements gathering - 5+ years
