The A.C. Coy company has an immediate opening for a HR Business Partner. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in HR or business field, 10+ years of HR experience, and solid experience with labor relations.

Responsibilities

  • Create and support strong relationships with business leaders to drive HR initiatives and support business goals
  • Develop solutions, programs, and policies to support trends and metrics as they relate to HR initiatives
  • Support workforce planning, talent acquisition, and performance management
  • Provide guidance and assist with implementation for succession planning and employee development
  • Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
  • Advise on employee relations issues
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and laws
  • Partner with the legal department to support risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives by developing communication plans and change management strategies

Qualifications

Education Required

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or business field

Experience Required:

  • 10 years of HR experience, a least 5 as a HR business partner preferred
  • Experience with labor relations, experience with negotiations is a plus
  • Experience with conflict resolution
  • Prior experience working in a unionized environment is a plus
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment law
  • Experience with manufacturing or engineering is a plus
