DIGITAL ACCESSIBILITY SPECIALIST - HYBRID

The A.C. Coy company has an opening for a Digital Accessibility Specialist. Ideal candidates will have experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and experience with maintaining current standards.

• Conduct accessibility audits of websites and digital documents for compliance
• Create guidelines and best practices for designing and maintaining accessible websites
• Ensure compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
• Identify documents with accessibility concerns and propose updates
• Recommend assisting software and hardware
• Serve as subject matter expert for accessibility

Education Required:

• Associates degree in related field

Experience Required:

• 2+ years of experience evaluating websites for accessibility
• 2+ years of experience with web communications, web development, or digital media
• Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
• Knowledge of digital assistive technologies such as JAWs, Siteimprove, NVDA, Voiceover, or Talkback
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and Java preferred
