Internal Auditor - Senior

Location: Hybrid, Canonsburg, PA

The A.C. Coy company has an immediate opening for an Internal Auditor - Senior. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience or the equivalent years of experience working in an internal audit department. Candidates with a CIA or CPA certification will be prioritized. Candidates will be focused on operational audits while supporting financial and SOX audits.

• Plan and perform testing on operational, financial, and SOX audits
• Act as consultant to management to provide process and efficiency improvements
• Summarize audit findings and prepare formal audit reports for submission to management
• Act as a lead auditor by assigning, supervising, directing and assisting auditors assigned to projects
• Assist external auditors as needed

Education Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related 
• CPA or CIA preferred

Experience Required

• 3 or more years of experience in public accounting or in an internal auditor role
• Strong communicator both written and oral
• Leadership skills including the ability to delegate and review work
• Ability to mentor and coach internal auditors
• Experience with Operational auditing or SOX compliance preferred
• Experience with Fraud investigation preferred
• Experience using ACL or IDEA preferred
