Technical Accounting, Senior Manager

Location: Hybrid in Pittsburgh, PA

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Technical Accounting, Senior Manager.  Ideal candidates must have 7+ years of technical accounting experience either from a public firm or a manufacturing facility's external reporting team with demonstrated experience handling accounting for derivatives and hedging in accordance with ASC 815.

• Provide technical accounting guidance for a global organization, leveraging technical research expertise and project management
• Manage the accounting and reporting for derivatives and embedded derivatives
• Analyze monthly and quarterly segment, operational level, and legal entity results and submit analysis to senior financial management
• Prepare quarterly communications on earnings for the Audit Committee and periodic SEC filings
• Prepare consolidated financial statements, including schedules and disclosures for 10-Q / 10-K filings with the SEC
• Support external auditors

Education Required

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• CPA required

Experience Required

• Experience with accounting for derivatives and hedging in accordance with ASC 815
• Strong grasp of SEC reporting requirements
• 7+ years experience in an accounting role with a minimum of 4 of those years in either public accounting or manufacturing (on the external reporting team)
• Hyperion Financial Management experience preferred
