Overview

Location: On-site, Waynesburg, PA

Job Type: Full Time / Contract to Hire - Hours 9a - 5p

Work Authorization: “no C2C” or “no sponsorship”

The A.C. Coy company has an immediate opening for an Accounting Administrative Assistant. Ideal candidates must have prior experience in an administrative capacity and strong Microsoft Office skills.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the accounting department and other office staff with administrative support
  • Receive, manage, and direct phone calls in a friendly, professional manner
  • Obtain, organize, and distribute mail
  • Call vendors and customers to assist in resolving invoicing issues
  • Scan and organize daily paperwork including counter sales, transfers, receipts, etc.
  • Handle direct ship POs and Order Acknowledgements by coding and entering into the company's system
  • Assist with projects as needed

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience Required:

  • Prior experience in an administrative role, preferably handing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Friendly, pleasant communication skills both in person and via phone
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Teams
