Systems Administrator

A.C. Coy is currently seeking candidates for a System Administrator role. Our ideal candidate will have three or more years of experience in a similar role and a strong background with Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, and updates) and virtual desktop environments (VDI), including Remote Desktop Services (RDS).

• Administer Windows Server (AD, Group Policy), Hyper-V/VMware, and RDS/VDI platforms
• Manage Azure VMs, resource groups, and automation tasks (e.g., Update Management, backup policies)
• Monitor and investigate events via Microsoft Sentinel and Log Analytics
• Support identity management: Azure AD, conditional access, and SSO
• Manage Intune and SCCM for endpoint provisioning, patching, and compliance
• Perform system patching, backups, and DR planning
• Support M365 environment (Exchange Online, Defender, SharePoint)
• Collaborate with security, networking, and application teams
• Document configurations and procedures; mentor junior team members

Required:

• 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role
• Strong expertise in Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, and updates)
• Experience with virtual desktop environments (VDI), including Remote Desktop Services (RDS)
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel for security monitoring and incident management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Intune & SCCM for endpoint and policy management
• Basic familiarity with firewall configurations (e.g., FortiGate) to support security incidents and assist the network team
• Experience with Ubiquiti/Unifi network devices (for general IT infrastructure support)
• Familiarity with ServiceNow for IT service management

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
