Procurement Strategy and Planning Manager

Location: Hybrid - Pittsburgh, PA (2 days onsite, 3 remote)

The A.C. Coy company has an immediate opening for a Procurement Strategy and Planning Manager. Ideal candidates will have expertise with purchasing and procurement, vendor risk management, and client relationship management. 

• Create and maintain procurement processes, implementing new solutions to inefficiencies and researching best practices while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and laws
• Act as vendor relationship Subject Matter Expert, remaining current on trends and issues by attending industry events
• Research, identify and establish vendor portfolio while encouraging supplier diversity
• Manage contract administration process
• Negotiate vendor contracts
• Lead the development of internal service level agreements and KPIs with escalation clauses
• Create necessary trainings to educate on updated processes and procedures
• Supervise staff and ensure professional development of those employees

Experience Required

• Expertise with purchasing and procurement, vendor risk management, and client relationships
• 1+ years in a supervisory position managing direct reports
• Experience managing vendor proposals
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex legal contracts and service agreements
• Ability to create and communicate policies and procedures
• Experience leading complex projects
