Sr. BI Developer

Location: Hybrid arrangement; Office located in Pittsburgh, PA

The A.C.Coy Company is currently seeking candidates for a Sr. BI Analyst role. This individual will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of business intelligence solutions that ensure effective data utilization for informed decision-making.

• Leading the design and development of complex BI solutions to meet business requirements
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical specifications
• Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of data models and ETL processes
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior BI developers and analysts
• Evaluating and recommending new tools and technologies to enhance BI capabilities
• Ensuring data quality and integrity across all BI solutions
• Creating and upholding comprehensive documentation for BI processes and solutions
• Participating in the strategic planning and roadmap development for BI initiatives
• Improving the performance and efficiency of BI applications through tuning and optimization techniques
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate BI solutions with other systems
• Providing expertise in data visualization and dashboard development

Required:

• 8+ years of relevant Business Intelligence experience
• Strong expertise with SQL and SQL Server, including SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS
• Excellent communication skills with ability to meet with business leaders to understand and document reporting requirements
• Specific experience building and enhancing data cubes

Preferred:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Any experience utilizing MS Power BI
• Any experience with MDX and MDAX querying languages
• Any background in Accounting/Finance
