A.C. Coy is currently seeking candidates for a Director of IT Infrastructure role. Our ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with 15+ years of IT Infrastructure experience and strong knowledge of networks, systems, security, and Cloud.

 

Our ideal candidate is a high-energy team player with a proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders, manage competing agendas and priorities, and translate complex information across internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Set strategy and establish standards for the company's IT Infrastructure.
  • Supervises Managers, Architect, System Admin and Cloud Engineering teams.
  • Design and implement short-term and long-term strategic plans to meet existing and future Infrastructure requirements.
  • Build Reference Architecture and provide escalation support for server, storage, network (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Access Points, etc.), virtual environments and cloud architecture.
  • Establish and maintain regular reporting with executives, stakeholders, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent infrastructure activities.
  • Provide Escalation support and hands-on leadership for server, storage, network, and telecom tasks.
  • Develop resource plans for projects that require engineering resources.
  • Leverage best practices and process frameworks, such as the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) to drive continual process improvement.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 10+ years IT experience in enterprise, multi-locations, including experience in the implementation, management and maintenance of information technology infrastructure and IT systems including cloud architectures, server technologies, and communication technologies, LANs, WANs, SD-WAN, voice, and data communication systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco and Fortinet products is required.
  • High-energy team player with a positive attitude
  • Cool disposition under pressure.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to interface and influence all levels of management.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders, manage competing agendas and priorities, and translate complex information across internal and external audiences
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline 

Preferred:

  • Certifications such as CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) and/or Fortinet NSE 4 or higher
  • Strong experience with SD-WAN (software defined wide area network) technology
