Location: Onsite in New Stanton, PA

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Green Card

 

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate need for a contract-to-hire Associate Systems Administrator. This individual will be an important member of the Infrastructure team, responsible for assisting in the administration of all enterprise-level systems and providing end-user support.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily end-user and operational support; ensure positive resolution of help desk tickets
  • Acquire and install network and server hardware and software for the facility
  • Evaluate and recommend hardware and software acquisitions and upgrades
  • Participate in the establishment and maintenance of hardware and software standards
  • Data backup and retention, network security and database administration
  • Create and maintain a routine maintenance schedule for servers and other equipment
  • Administration of phone system, FAX machines and copiers
  • Maintain accurate records of software licensing and asset tracking of hardware
  • Ensure security of network and communications systems, and assist with disaster recovery preparedness and planning
  • Assist with training and mentoring of other team members

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 3 years of IT support experience
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems on various PC and notebook configurations
  • Proficiency in the administration of Active Directory and Office 365
  • Hands-on experience with network equipment – Routers, Switches
  • Experience utilizing one or more ticketing systems
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects and assignments to meet established goals and deadlines
  • Ability to work in a high volume, high detail work environment

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field
  • Ability to perform basic PowerShell scripting
  • Any experience supporting a manufacturing environment
