INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER - REMOTE

Location: Remote

Job Type: Part Time (25-30 hrs/wk.) / Contract

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for an Instructional Designer. Ideal candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in instructional design using Articulate 360 and Rise to create eLearning for a global organization.

• Design end to end learning solutions, including e learning modules, instructor led training, blended learning, microlearning, and job aids
• Develop storyboards, scripts, and prototypes using instructional design best practices
• Build learning content using authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, Captivate, or similar platforms
• Partner with SMEs to gather content, validate accuracy, and ensure alignment with business goals
• Facilitate design meetings, content reviews, and feedback sessions
• Apply adult learning principles, accessibility standards, and user centered design to create intuitive learning experiences
• Incorporate interactive elements, scenarios, assessments, and multimedia to enhance engagement
• Ensure all training materials meet brand, compliance, and quality standards
• Develop assessments, knowledge checks, and evaluation tools to measure learning effectiveness
• Recommend improvements to existing courses and learning programs
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality expectations
• Maintain organized documentation, version control, and content repositories
• Support LMS administration tasks such as course uploads, testing, and troubleshooting when needed

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional design, education or related field

Experience Required:

• Experience in instructional design or related role - 3 - 5 years
• Design experience using programs such as Adobe, Articulate, Canva, etc. - 3+ years
• Experience with a Learn Management System (LMS) - 2+ years
• Previous experience in a regulated industry (e.g., Manufacturing, healthcare, finance, government) - Preferred
• Able to work part-time hours (25-30/wk.)
