Staff Accountant - Audit (2-3 Years Public Accounting Experience)

Location: Hybrid - just SOUTH of Pittsburgh PA

The A.C.Coy company has an IMMEDIATE opening for a Staff Accountant (Senior) to join a growing CPA firm committed to delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services to a diverse client base. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of public accounting experience with a focus in Audit.

• Examine financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, bank statements, and payroll records.
• Organize and update financial records to meet audit standards
• Prepare detailed audit reports
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather information and resolve issues
• Support senior team members on various clients

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related
• CPA preferred, or willingness to obtain a CPA.

Experience Required

• 2+ years of public accounting experience, preferably with a regional CPA firm
• High attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills
