Purchasing Agent

Location: On-site, Curwansville, PA
Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Purchasing Agent to support a growing, specialty manufacturer. Ideal candidates will have several years of experience in a purchasing role for a manufacturing facility with exposure to vendor relations and inventory control.

• Source raw materials, equipment, supplies, and other services for the unique needs of the manufacturing facility
• Establish strong relationships with current and new vendors to secure competitive pricing and a reliable supply chain
• Review and negotiate vendor contracts, proposals, and vendor pricing
• Review inventory, track shipments, and prevent material shortages

Education Required:

• Associate degree in a related field

Experience Required:

• 5 or more years in a purchasing role within a manufacturing environment
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with PowerBI is preferred
• Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to own the full purchasing process 

**Some travel required for industry conferences or vendor visits
