The A.C.Coy Company has an immediate opening for an IT Project Manager role. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead, facilitate, coordinate, and track the day-to-day activities which are required to ensure the project is completed on time, successfully, and in a manner consistent with organizational goals, departmental policies, established processes, and/or the standard terms and conditions of the contract
  • Managing customer expectations and satisfaction of products, services, and projects by demonstrating effective communication skills, verbal and written, with customers, project teams and leadership
  • Creation and use of project plans for assigned projects, which include clear milestones and assignment of project task responsibilities; Use of all governance tools (scope document, project status reports, risk and change logs, etc.), for all assigned projects, for effective management
  • Successfully manage the scope of the deployment project, including customer priorities
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to identify risks to project success; develop effective action plans for resolution
  • Appropriately manage/escalate project issues or risks both internally and to the customer
  • Providing leadership and direction for customers, project teams, and deployment staff
  • Accurately forecasting current and future quarter revenue for each assigned project

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • 4-6 years of IT Project Management experience
  • Prior Help Desk experience would be helpful
  • Working as a member of the Tier II/escalation team
  • Demonstrated experience in client support and direct client communications
  • Ability to lead client meetings and capture meeting notes and action items
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical requirements and translate those requirements into project plans and technical documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple project tracks demonstrating attention to detail, following up on all open items until resolution is reached
  • Ability to rapidly adjust and be flexible based on the project’s needs. Each client implementation is unique, which makes it a very exciting industry to support
  • General IT proficiency leveraging software as a service-based platform
  • Strong written and verbal communication
